If you are looking for Safe Destinations For Solo Female Travellers In India 2023, then read on.
One of the best ways to unwind and find the inner self is meditation, the next best thing is travel. Traveling can be enjoyed with friends and family, but going out solo is something that is on every voyager’s bucket list.
So often we have heard our male friends and family embarking on solo trips to find their inner selves, but when it comes to us, the girls, we have so many inhibitions from family and also ourselves. It is not so common in India even today in 2023 for a girl or a woman to embark on a life-changing journey. Lao Tzu’s saying may not be quite the case when it comes to a girl in our country yet. Hopefully, we can change that someday.
Till then, here are 10 safe destinations for solo female travelers in India 2023 for you to plan and travel.

In the eastern Himalayas, there is this state that boasts scenic mountains, great cuisine, cafes, and super friendly people. Sikkim is the best place in India if you want to rejuvenate yourself in monasteries and tranquility all around. It is a super safe place which I can vouch for myself. The locals are helpful and often go out of their way to make you and your stay memorable for a lifetime. While some places may require you to get permits issued beforehand, it is also taken care of by the hotel/homestay staff or the cab drivers. Shared cabs are also very common amongst all the routes, so there should not be much of a pinch on the pocket as well.
